I was honoured to have been elected as MP for my home constituency of Angus in June 2017.
I campaigned strongly to keep the United Kingdom together in September 2014 and believe most people in Angus want to move on from the continual constitutional debate. It is time to concentrate on the issues that impact people’s daily lives.
That is why my priority for my time in Westminster will be standing up for local people. Whether it is pushing the Scottish Government to get on with delivering rural broadband, working with the UK Government to grow our local economy or ensuring that Angus benefits from the opportunities of Brexit.
Before being elected, I worked at DC Thomson in Dundee. I was born and brought up on the family farm outside Brechin and educated at Brechin High and Aberdeen University.
I will continue to be active across the constituency, holding regular surgeries to ensure that I am available to all my constituents to help with their issues no matter who they voted for.
Here on my website, you can find out more about what I am doing for Angus and contact me if you have an issue you would like to raise with me.
