The MP for Angus has applauded the organisers and volunteers of the upcoming Harley Davidson in the City Festival at Brechin.
In recent years, the event has grown to become a key weekend in the Angus Calendar, which last year saw 18,000 visitors travel to Brechin
The festival’s increasing popularity has led organisers to bring the event forward a week in order avoid clashing with the Extravaganza at Glamis.
Earlier this year, Ms Hair led discussions between the event planners, Stagecoach, and Scotrail in a bid to help services support the increasing numbers of Harley Davidson fans who make the pilgrimage
“This is a great festival that brings together bike enthusiasts to celebrate the world’s most iconic motorcycles
“For such a globally popular brand as Harley Davidson to have originated in Brechin is an incredible legacy that deserves to be championed
“The work put in by the event organisers to preserve and celebrate Harley Davidson’s origins in the city is to be commended”
