National Lottery Event

More than 150 Angus community groups and representatives attended a "routes to funding" session organised by the local MP.
Big Lottery Fund representative Ulrick spoke to attendees at the event in St Andrew’s Church Hall, Arbroath on February 22.
He advised people about the best routes for funding for their charities, and what they can do to improve their chances of success.
Scottish Conservative MP Ms Hair said:
"Such a large attendance confirms the importance of lottery funding in the local area.
"And it really underlined the number and variety of community groups we have in Angus.
"The different streams and processes involved in funding can be daunting for first-time applicants.
"I hope this event cut through some of that for representatives, and I'd like to thank them for coming."
