Violent Crime Increase in Angus

An increase in the number of Angus offences involving violent and sexual crime has been met with concern by the local MP.

Kirstene Hair spoke after national statistics for 2018/19 revealed recorded crime has risen in Scotland for the second year in a row.

Ninewells Parking Fine For Patient

The MP for Angus has called for parking charges at Ninewells hospital to be abolished after a man was hit with a parking fine whilst receiving life-saving treatment at hospital.

Stephen Millar suffered a heart attack and was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee on May 17.

Charges For ATM Use In Angus

Cash machines across Tayside run by the company NoteMachine are to start charging customers for withdrawals, Angus MP Kirstene Hair has been told.

The ATMs in locations across the constituency were operating on a free to use basis.
